New Roles and Responsibilities

David Nam Le has been appointed managing director of Musical Instruments Vista while John Bar joins BandLab Technologies as a senior advisor for artist and label services.

Bar brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role. He previously held the position of vice president of business development and strategy at Downtown Music Holdings, collaborating with companies like CD Baby and FUGA. Prior to that, Bar dedicated over ten years at ASKAP, ascending to Senior Director of Marketing and Communications.

In his new capacity at BandLab, Bar will spearhead the company’s expanding suite of services for artists, which includes licensing, distribution, publishing, and industry partnerships.

Both Bar and Le will report directly to Caldecott Music CEO Meng Ru Kuok.
