Bruce Springsteen to Release “Tracks II: The Lost” Featuring Seven Unheard Full-Length Entries

Bruce Springsteen Announces The Release Of Lost Albums

Bruce Springsteen is set to release seven unheard full entries on “Tracks II: The Lost”.

Details About The Collection

The collection, which arrives on June 27, will feature seven previously unreleased Springsteen albums. You can preorder them here.

This collection encompasses a substantial 83 songs, aiming to “fill the rich chapters of Springsteen’s expansive career while providing invaluable insights into his life and artistry,” as stated in the press release.

In his statement, Springsteen expressed, “These ‘lost albums’ are complete records; some have even been mixed but never released. I have played this music for myself and close friends over many years. I am thrilled that you will finally have the chance to hear them. I hope you enjoy it.”

One of the collections is described as a “Lo-Fi exploration of ‘La Garage Sessions ’83,” which “serves as a crucial link between ‘Nebraska’ and the drum loop and synthesizer sounds of the ‘Streets of Philadelphia Sessions.’ The ‘Lost Albums’ provide unprecedented insight into 35 prolific years (1983-2018) of Springsteen’s songwriting and home recordings,” the statement concluded.

Springsteen further remarked that, “The ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to explore different musical directions.”

Other collections include the soundtrack “Faithless” for a film that was never made, alongside a country-inspired collection titled “Somewhere North of Nashville.” The press statement also notes “Noir, characterized by orchestral arrangements, reflecting the essence of mid-century with a Twilight theme.”

Springsteen recently paid tribute to Joe D’Amico, the New Jersey native who inspired his hit “Glory Days” in 1984. D’Amico passed away from cancer at the age of 75 last month.

“All for a moment, I commemorate the passage of Freehold native and ballplayer Joe D’Amico,” wrote Springsteen in an Instagram post. “He was a good friend when I needed one.”He could send this speedball and make you look like a fool… Honor those glory days, my friend.

D’Amico and Springsteen grew up in Freehold, New Jersey, and played baseball in the same youth league. Their chance meeting in a bar in 1973 served as the inspiration for one of the most iconic songs on the “Born in the USA” album.

This classic hit reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1985 and number 17 on the UK Singles Chart.

Additionally, last month, the Boss jammed with All-Star musicians including Flea, Karen O, Michael Stipe, and Johnny Depp during Patti Smith’s tribute concert in New York.

During the show, Springsteen and The Night’s House Band, led by longtime Smith collaborator Tony Shanahan, along with drummer Flea and Rolling Stones tour member Steve Jordan, also performed “The Night.”

In other news, Teenager star Stephen Graham recently shared that he was left in tears after Springsteen reached out to praise his performance in the upcoming biographical film Deliver Me From Nowhere. The film stars Bear Jeremy Allen White as a young Springsteen, tracking the Heartland Rocker’s journey during the making of the 1982 album, Nebraska, where Graham portrays his late father, Douglas “Dutch” Springsteen.
