The first round of performers for the Brit Awards 2025 has been revealed – see the current list of acts below.

Details of the Upcoming Ceremony

Today (January 31), the Brit award announced the first five performers for the upcoming awards ceremony, which will take place at the O2 in London on Saturday, and will be broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX.

Among the performers, Jade, Shaboozi, Teddy Paims, Last Dinner Party, and Miles Smith were highlighted. Smith was previously declared the winner of the Brit Awards 2025 Rising Star. He is also nominated for three additional awards: Best New Artist, Song of the Year, and Pop Act.

Similarly, the other announced performers are also in the running for various awards. Jade is nominated for Song of the Year and Pop Act, while Last Dinner Party is recognized with nominations for Mastercard Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Best New Artist, and Alternative/Rock Act.

Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” is nominated for International Song of the Year, while Shaboozi’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” competes in the same category – read a full list of nominations here.

It is also anticipated that more acts will be announced leading up to the award ceremony. The comedian and actor Jack Whitehall has been named the returning host for the fifth time, having previously presented the ceremony in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Leading Nominees

This year, Charli XCX stands out as the leading nominee with five nominations, including Artist of the Year, Pop Act, and Dance Act. Her collaboration with Billie Eilish, “Guess,” is also up for Song of the Year, while her album “Brat” is included in the shortlist for Mastercard Album.

This year, The Cure is also nominated, marking their first Brit nominations in over three decades, with entries for “Songs of the Lost World” in categories such as Album of the Year, Group of the Year, and Alt/Rock Act. The Beatles have also been nominated for Song of the Year with “From Time to Time.”

The winners in the categories of “Producer of the Year” and “Songwriter of the Year” will be announced later.

Back in November, a new trophy design was unveiled ahead of the 2025 ceremony. Created by Gabriel Moses, a renowned British-Nigerian interdisciplinary artist, it includes collaborations with notable figures such as Skepta, Little Simz, Burberry, and many others over the years.
