Latest Confirmations at Brit Awards 2025
Ezra Collective and George Smith are the most recent acts confirmed for a performance at the Brit Awards 2025.
Performance Details and Nominees
Smith and Ezra Collective are the final performers announced for the upcoming award ceremony, which is set to occur at the O2 in London on Saturday, March 1, and will be broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX.
The Ezra Collective, recipients of the 2023 Mercury Prize, are among the most nominated artists this year, with four nominations in the categories of Mastercard Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Best New Artist, and Alternative/Rock Act.
Smith is also a previous winner at the Brit Awards, having received the 2018 Rising Star Award as the British Women’s Artist of 2019. She was also nominated in 2019 for Mastercard Album of the Year and Breakthrough Act.
They will join previously announced performers Sam Fender and Lola Young, along with Sabrina Carpenter, who will be honored with a prestigious global success award. Additional performances will feature Jade, Shabuzi, Teddy Plavs, The Last Dinner, and Miles Smith.
Femi Koleoso from Ezra Collective expressed the significance of their performance, saying, “Honestly, the opportunity to play at the Brit Awards is invaluable. Growing up, I watched the Brit Awards; I remember the speeches from Gorillaz and Skepta. Those moments when I sat in my room during adolescence were monumental for me and fueled my desire to become a musician.”
“It is an incredible honor to perform and to give this moment to the teenage versions of the Ezra Collective who will be watching. I can’t wait for everyone to dance on Saturday evening. God bless you all!”
This year, Charli XCX leads the nominations with five nods, including Artist of the Year, Pop Act, and Dance Act. Her collaboration with Billie Eilish, “Guess,” is nominated for Song of the Year, while her record “Brat” is shortlisted for Mastercard Album of the Year.
It was recently revealed that XCX will also receive the Song of the Year award, following her longtime collaborator Agr Kuk, who was named Producer of the Year this year after working with her on the hit song “Brat.”
This year, The Cure has also been nominated, marking their first Brit nominations in over three decades for their album “Songs of the Lost World,” with nods for Album of the Year, Group of the Year, and Alt/Rock Act. The Beatles are also nominated for “Song of the Year” with Mastercard for “From Time to Time.” The full list of nominees for Brit Awards 2025 can be found here.
In November, the new trophy design was unveiled ahead of the 2025 ceremony, created by renowned British Nigerian interdisciplinary artist Gabriel Moses, who has collaborated with talents such as Skepta, Little Simz, Burberry, and many more over the years.
