New EP Announcement
The Bones Ate the Harp have revealed that their new EP “Just Bananas” is set to be released on April 22, alongside the title track.
About the Band
The Brighton alternative rock trio features Bones on guitar, 8 on drums, and Harp on vocals and bass. They are currently working on their 2024 EP, “Amkibo People.”
Song Inspiration
“The title of the song and the EP is a reference to mine and Grandma 8, who owned Just Bananas in our hometown,” Arfa shares. “The single recounts how she gave our guitarist Bones a cigarette at his birthday party and celebrates what a cool person she is. She sports these huge fur coats that look incredibly stylish, and she possesses one of those classic 60s jukeboxes. She’s attended many of our shows, which is wild because our music isn’t exactly polite… even though she’s still got two steps to go.”
The band will be touring the UK in August to promote the EP, with dates to be announced soon.
