Breaking News: First Round Announcement Since 2017, Social Media Comments Disabled

Details Of The Upcoming Tour

A completely new group has announced the details of their first tour in the United States in seven years, and fans on social media have been actively participating.

News about the new tour reveals that the group will perform 24 shows across the United States at the end of this year. This announcement comes just days after they played their first public reunion show since 2017.

The news of their return surfaced in March when the members launched their own website, informing followers that they would perform three shows at the month’s end. The first three concerts took place in Texas, marking a celebration of their secret and intimate reunion back in December of last year.

Background On The Group’s Hiatus

This return follows a significant hiatus, during which the group was interrupted due to accusations against frontman Jessius regarding sexual misconduct involving a minor in 2017. These revelations led to the cancellation of their UK tour at that time, and their music was removed from Spotify’s ‘wrapped up’ lists after additional allegations from two other women.

Tour Details in the USA

Now, the group has shared details about their upcoming tour in the United States at the end of this year. The tour kicks off at the end of next month with performances at the WAMU Theater in Seattle and the Theater of Clouds in Portland on May 30 and 31, respectively.

Following these shows, 20 additional performances are planned for the next month, including stops in Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Cleveland, Newark, Columbus, and more, culminating in two final shows in July. This includes a performance at the TD Pavilion in Manna, Philadelphia, on July 1, followed by the last night at UBS Arena in Belmont Park on July 2.

As the shows approach, some negative reactions may arise regarding the group, particularly in light of the accusations surrounding Jessius. Evidence of this can be seen as eagle-eyed fans noted that venues have disabled comments on social media posts announcing the shows.

I reached out to several venues, including Consequence for comments, but no one has yet provided a public response.

It is worth mentioning that when the accusations first emerged, Jessius expressed regret for the “actions of my past,” acknowledging the pain and harm they caused many individuals.

“I want to say that I am very sorry. I do not stand in defense of myself and do not forgive myself. I was selfish, narcissistic, and insensitive in my past, which has burdened several people with my failures,” he stated at that time.

“I apologize for the pain I caused, and I hope to take the right actions to earn forgiveness and trust.”

The completely new group released their fifth and final album “Science Fiction” eight years ago and began hinting at it being their last during its release. This was further emphasized when members started selling t-shirts featuring dates from 2000-2018, at least before the allegations against Jessius came to light.
