TEG Appoints New Leadership
Australia, with headquarters at TEG, one of the largest companies in the entertainment and ticketing sector within the Asia-Pacific region, has appointed Jeff Jones as chairman and Brad Banducci as the new chief executive officer.
Jones steps into the role after serving as chief executive officer for 14 years.
Brad Banducci brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the retail and consumer industries, most recently as the chief executive officer of Woolworths Group.
According to TEG, Jones’s tenure as CEO saw him make significant contributions that were crucial to the industry both in Australia and globally.
TEG’s Growth and Impact
Jones established the company as the “architect of the integrated TEG model,” aiming to enhance cost-effectiveness and geographical reach. The company spans the entertainment, ticketing, and digital sectors, boasting 30 enterprises worldwide.
TEG features an extensive portfolio of live entertainment, hosting approximately 1,000 events annually and attracting 2 million fans, as stated on their website.
The company’s growth was underscored in October 2019 with an acquisition facilitated by the investment firm Silver Lake, following which TEG acquired the British promoter and venue operator, Group MJR, further expanding its international footprint.
