Block Party: Addressing ‘Quiet Anxiety’ as a Metric for Returning to the ‘Fantasy’ Tour

Bloc Party and Metric Announce Joint Tour

BLOC PARTY and METRIC have revealed plans for a collaborative tour in the United States set for 2025, marking a significant anniversary for both bands.

Celebrating Milestones

During the tour, Bloc Party will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, “Silent Alarm,” by performing it in full, alongside a selection of their greatest hits. Metric will honor their 2009 album, “Fantasies,” performing it in its entirety, complemented by tracks from their extensive catalog.

“Indie dates are really coming true,” Metric shared in a statement. “We are excited to bring back ‘Fantasies’ this spring! We will perform the album in its entirety during an additional special run, with limited dates across 13 cities. We’re looking forward to visiting some amazing venues, such as the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver and Forest Hills in New York, alongside our friends in Bloc Party, who will perform their iconic album, Silent Alarm. To top it off, we’ll have our first headlining show in Toronto since 2022 at the Budweiser Stage on Friday, June 6, with Bloc Party and our long-time friends, ‘Dear,’ opening that night.”
