Black Honey Unveils Fourth Album “Soak” Alongside New Single “Dead”

New Album Announcement

Black Honey announced their fourth album 'Soak' installed for release on August 15.

Single Release and Description

Brighton rock band shared a new single 'Dead' along with the announcement, describing it as “Skuses, Do-Yor World Phorus Takyts.” The track follows their previous single “Psycho,” released earlier this year.

“Soak” marks a shift in the visual aesthetics of the group, transitioning from the cinematographic influences of Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson, known for their previous work on the retro-futuristic approach inspired by Stanley Kubrick. The album consists of twelve tracks, including the previously released single “Psycho.”

“Soaking is processing a decade of touring and creating music and art as a drug addict,” explains the frontman Izzy B. Phillips. “I choose layers of dirty, romantic, confusing, beautiful, and spoiled things. Who I thought I was, who I had to be, and who looks back at me now, all are so different, but I am partly here.”

Their dates are as follows:

April
15 Night & Day, Manchester, Great Britain
