The Black Eyed Peas have canceled their 2025 Las Vegas residency due to “current circumstances.”

Statement from the Trio

The trio, which includes Will.I.Am, Apl.De.Ap, and Taboo, shared the news in a recent post on their Instagram Stories, according to the post. Billboard.

“To our dear Peabody,” they wrote. “It is with a heavy heart that we recognize that in light of current circumstances, our Las Vegas shows will not move forward as planned.”

The statement continued: “Ticket providers will automatically issue a full refund. Stay tuned for updates on future performances by following us – we can't wait to see you again.” No additional information was provided.

Details About the Residency

The Black Eyed Peas announced their residency, dubbed “Black Eyed Peas: 3008 The Las Vegas Experience,” last September, with a start date set for February 15th. As part of the residency, they were scheduled to play 15 shows at the PH Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Live.

In a previous statement, Will.I.Am explained: “Our first residency in Las Vegas gives the Black Eyed Peas the opportunity to do what we do best: come up with something completely new and creative that pushes the boundaries of live performance.

“We take inspiration from Disney attractions, Las Vegas shows, concerts, artificial intelligence, and technology. We will reinvent the way we perform by creating an interactive show, a journey back to 3008 that is both a concert and a performance. I can’t wait for the world to see what we have in store in Las Vegas.”

Last month, Will.I.Am said Taylor Swift made him feel “fucking energized and inspired” to play their string of Vegas shows.

“I went (to Swift’s Eras Tour…) with the glasses of a super-heavy skeptic,” the rapper said, adding that the concert “was hardcore, bro. Best shit in the world. I walked away and said, “Yo, we're definitely doing Vegas.” Let's do this.”

The Black Eyed Peas released their ninth and final studio album, Elevation, in 2022. The band shared the song “Tonight” featuring Becky G from the film's soundtrack with El Alfa, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, last year.
