Biig Piig has released her latest single “Ponytail”, just ahead of her debut album, 11:11, set to debut in early 2025.
Thematic Exploration
This new track, crafted in collaboration with Mac Weta, delves into the challenges of navigating complicated relationships. “I was reflecting on the feeling of being attached to someone, the desire to break free from the cycle, and the acceptance of defeat,” she shares. “It’s somewhat melancholic. Crying in the club: my favorite pastime!”
Accompanying the release is a music video directed by Freddy Cattaneo, which is part of an 11-part series linked to the upcoming album. Each installment presents a narrative penned by and starring Biig Piig, highlighting her journey growing up.
“Ponytail” comes on the heels of earlier singles “4AM” and “Decimal.”
