This year’s festival will take place at Sephton Park in Liverpool from Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25. The initial wave of artists announced earlier this year featured Sam Fender, Blossam, Lola Young, Wet Leg, and Miles Smith, the British Rising Star 2025 winners.
Since then, additional names have frequently been added to the lineup, including Wolf Alice, Igalera, Aich, Tom Grennan, Biffy Clyro, Barry Can’t Swim, NIA Archives, Katie B., Crucoses, and Wombats.
Recent additions to the lineup will perform on the festival’s final night in 2025.
Mumford & Sons are set to headline and conclude the festival with an epic performance on the main stage of Radio 1. This appearance coincides with the release of their highly-anticipated album, Rushmee, set to launch on March 28. The band also played two surprise shows in London at the beginning of this year.
“Liverpool, we really can’t wait to see you all at the last Big Weekend Radio 1 in May. We consider this the start of summer, and we can’t wait for it to arrive. A huge thank you to Radio 1 for this opportunity,” they stated in a recent announcement.
