The Festival Announcement
The Skepta has revealed the first lineup for the 2025 edition of the Big Smoke Festival. Find all the details below.
Event Details
The festival will take place at Crystal Palace Park in southeast London on August 9 and 10, continuing its tradition after a successful debut last summer.
Today (March 4), the organizers announced the initial lineup for the first day. Skepta is set to headline on Saturday (August 9), with the talented Mercury curated the rest of the lineup.
Artists like Chi Cartier and Chip will also perform, with Chip expected to release his new album, “Grime Saveor,” next month.
Additionally, the Big Smoke Festival 2025 will feature the iconic B2B Grime MC FM (JME) and Den (Frisco), both regarded as “two legends of the UK independent scene.” The festival also promises “special guests and unforgettable performances.”
The following day (Sunday, August 10), Skepta’s label Tyepo Maso will be fully represented with a DJ set from the rapper. More guests for that event will be confirmed at a later date.
In his statement, Skepta shared: “Big Smoke is a festival in London, for London, and I can’t wait for the fans to see what we have planned for this year’s edition. We’re constantly exploring new ways to deliver something different, so I’m excited to unveil the full lineup. See you in a bowl in August – Ground!”
