Beyoncé’s Representative Refutes Speculation About 20-Minute NFL Christmas Halftime Show

Beyoncé’s NFL Christmas Halftime Performance Details

Beyoncé’s upcoming NFL Christmas halftime performance will not exceed the typical duration of other Super Bowl halftime shows, as confirmed recently.

Announcement and Speculation

Last month, Netflix and the NFL announced that Beyoncé would headline the Christmas Halftime Show. Earlier this week, a fan page on X (formerly Twitter) shared that TMZ Sports reported that Queen Bey’s performance time might be “extended” beyond the conventional 15-minute duration.

“The typical length of a halftime in an NFL game is about 12-15 minutes… but league sources tell us that figure will increase when Yonce takes the stage after the second quarter of the Houston Texans’ home game against the Baltimore Ravens on December 25th,” the post stated. This led fans to speculate about a potential performance length of around 20 minutes.

However, Beyoncé’s publicist has refuted these claims. Yvette Noel-Schure stated on X in response to the fan page: “Not true. Her performance will not last 20 minutes.”

While specifics about Beyoncé’s performance remain undisclosed, Netflix announced in November that she would perform the songs from “Cowboy Carter” live for the first time.

Beyoncé last toured in 2023 for her album Renaissance, the tour running from May to October across 39 cities in 17 countries, earning a remarkable $579 million (£455.7 million). She has since embraced a country style and released “Cowboy Carter” earlier this year.

The album has received a five-star review from NME, with Jenessa Williams noting, “Even if interpreted only in terms of artistic spectacle, it’s an undeniable delight to see her so involved in a project that allows her to be so intimate and vocal while paving the way for the rise of country.” and visitors too.

This upcoming Christmas will not mark Beyoncé’s first appearance at an NFL event. She has previously performed at two other halftime shows, both during the Super Bowl—once in 2013 alongside her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and again in 2016 with Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
