Beyoncé Kicks Off Cowboy Carter Tour

Beyoncé officially began her Cowboy Carter tour in California last night (April 28). Check out the setlist below.

The singer launched a tour for her latest album “Cowboy Carter,” an homage to the country that was released in March last year.

Performing at the Sophia Stadium in Inglewood, California, Beyoncé delivered an impressive 36 songs over a span of 2 hours and 45 minutes, with the majority of songs from Cowboy Carter. Opening with “American Requiem,” she also included “Bodyguard,” “II Most of the Wanted,” “1916 Wagons,” and many more live debuts last night.

She also covered The Beatles’ “Blackbird” and Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.” Additionally, Beyoncé performed several remixes inspired by dance, along with hits from her extensive career.

Stunning Visuals and Dramatic Performances

As with the Renaissance tour, fans were treated to an impressive production from Beyoncé.

One standout moment featured “Singer” representing the song “Ya Ya,” where she smoked a cigar and set a piano on fire, exclaiming: “It’s mad.” Beyoncé also flew across the stadium in a car during “1916”:

Fans took to social media to highlight the performance of Blue Ivy, who joined her mother on stage multiple times, dancing alongside Beyoncé. She took the spotlight during “America Has a Problem,” showcasing her own solo dance routine during the classic “Déjà Vu.” One user praised her performance as “damn iconic”:

Blue Ivy was joined by her sister Rumi, who made a rare public appearance. They were seen during the performance of “Defender,” with Rumi enthusiastically waving to the crowd as she left the stage.
