This teaser has given fans plenty to speculate about, including whether Beyoncé will announce a tour in support of “Cowboy Carter” or “Act III” from her Renaissance trilogy. There are also rumors regarding visual effects relating to Cowboy Carter.
Beyoncé has not yet embarked on a tour for Cowboy Carter, with her last performance occurring for Renaissance in October 2023.
Her recent social media post comes right after her Christmas break in her hometown of Houston, Texas, where she showcased songs from “Cowboy Carter” for the first time since the album’s release earlier this year.
During her performance, she delivered hits such as “16 Carriages”, “Blackbird”, “YA YA”, “My House”, “Jolene”, and more. She was joined by Post Malone for “Levii’s Jeans” and Shaboozey for “Sweet Honey Buckiin.”
“Cowboy Carter” received a five-star review from NME, with Jenessa Williams stating: “Even if interpreted only in terms of artistic spectacle, it’s an undeniable delight to see her so involved in a project that forces her to be so intimate and vocal, making way for country newcomers too.”
The album secured seventh place on NME‘s list of the 50 Best Albums of 2024, while “16 Carriages” was recognized as the eighth-best song of the year.
In other Beyoncé news, she became the most nominated artist in Grammy history this November. She previously tied with Jay-Z with 88 nominations each but has now been nominated for an impressive 11 awards at the upcoming Grammys, all for “Cowboy Carter.” With a total of 99 nominations, she holds the record and broke the record for the most Grammy wins in 2023, claiming a total of 32 trophies.
