New Single Release
Better Joy has unveiled a new single titled “quiet thing,” which is part of the upcoming debut EP “Gearing Into Blue,” set to be released on March 28.
About The Artist
The Manchester artist, known as Brian Kili, is gearing up for her first release of 2025, “Waiting on time.”
Kili describes “quiet thing” as a song that has evolved over time. “Initially, I drew inspiration from someone close to me who spoke about the kind of love that requires support during tough times. This led me to consider the importance of not taking quiet moments in a relationship for granted. I aimed to craft an ode to those moments, but I wanted the lyrics to contrast with the sweetness of the music, adding some grit to balance it out,” she explains.
Upcoming Events
The six-track EP, produced by Mike Hedes, features the previous singles “Waiting for Time,” “Carnival,” and “What Day,” along with “Quiet Thing” and two new tracks titled “Could Not Run Forever” and “Bank I Land on the Bank Airplane?”
