Beck’s Upcoming Orchestral Performances
This spring, Beck revealed plans for two orchestral concerts at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London, featuring the BBC concert orchestra.
Details of the Concerts
Scheduled for April 19 and 20, the performances will showcase unique symphonic renditions of tracks from Beck’s extensive catalog, including selections from “OdeLay,” “Mutations,” “Sea Change,” and “Morning Phase,” along with additional surprises. Edwin Wouter will lead the orchestra on the first night, while Troy Miller will take the helm for the second performance.
“London! Announcing two orchestral performances at Royal Albert Hall, featuring the BBC concert orchestra on April 19 and 20,” Beck shared on social media.
This announcement follows his orchestral tour in the United States, set for 2024, where he delighted fans with beloved tracks and covers. The tour has already included performances at venues like Chateau Ste. Michelle Amphitheater in Woodinville, Washington, and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, with setlists including hits like “Cycle,” “Golden Age,” “Lonely Tears,” “Wave,” “Tropicale,” “The Golden Age,” and “Blue Moon.”
Recently, Beck released a cover of “Be Here” by George Harrison and collaborated with The Black Keys on their track “I’m With The Band,” featured in the expanded edition of “Players in Ohio.”
