Mogwai added: “We are thrilled to return to the 6 Music festival and Manchester this year. 6 Music has always championed independent music and ourselves, and it’s a great privilege to be part of this year’s celebration.”

Kae Tempest expressed excitement as well: “I have a new album, and I can’t wait for people to hear it. BBC Radio 6 Music has been such an important supporter of my work; I’m eager for listeners to experience this new direction and to express my gratitude for their support over the years.”
