Introducing the New Single
Barry can’t swim has released a new single titled “Kimpton”, featuring O’Flinn. This track is part of his upcoming album “Loner”, which is set to be launched via Ninja Tune.
Collaborations and Earlier Releases
This track marks one of his initial recordings and was developed in collaboration with fellow producer O’Flinn. The new single follows his previous releases, “different” and “a person whom you would like to be”, the latter of which features a distorted exchange between Barry and a friend.
Born in Edinburgh, Barry’s debut album, “When Will We Land?”, was released in October 2023. It garnered a nomination for the Mercury Award alongside artists like Charlie XCX and Beth Gibbons, among others.
Barry’s work has also received a nomination for Best Dance Act at the 2024 Brit Awards, as well as being shortlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year awards.
