Musical exploration

This 17-track album delves into the rich Puerto Rican folk music tradition of música jíbara, intertwining classical forms like salsa and plena with elements of reggaeton and electronica. It showcases collaborations with several artists, including RaiNao, Chuwi, Omar Courtz, Dei V, and Los Pleneros de la Cresta.

Artist’s reflection

“I’ve been dreaming about this album for years, and bringing it to fruition has brought me great happiness,” shares Bad Bunny. “I have always been honest with my followers, and with this new production, they will continue to learn more about me, just as I am learning more about myself. This album is the result of an experience that allowed me to get to know myself better, even to discover the rhythms that I enjoy the most – the ones I truly love to sing and create. I’m Puerto Rican, I’m Caribbean, and my music, my culture, the history of my country runs through my veins, from plena to reggaeton. At the peak of my career and popularity, I want to show the world who I am, who BENITO ANTONIO is, and who PUERTO RICO is. The best is yet to come.”
