Backstreet Boys is the sixth act to take the stage at the sphere since its grand opening in September 2023. U2 was the inaugural group to perform at this larger-than-life venue, receiving a glowing five-star review from NME, which noted that the performance “really breathes.”
“They started off strong with a remarkable display that included everything from giant helicopters to falling letters, expansive desert landscapes, and the very projection of the sphere itself captivating the audience,” they remarked.
Other acts that have graced the sphere include Fish, Dead & Company, the Eagles, and recently, Anmima, who made history as the first non-rock performer to headline the venue.
