Aviva announces new single
Aviva has revealed her latest single 'Ritual' today (February 21).
Collaboration with Mblue
This track, produced by Polish electronic artist Mblue, continues to showcase the branded alt-pop and rock style of Aviva.
The meaning behind Ritual
“The ritual is to find your inner strength and abandon everything that keeps you,” Aviva explains. “People constantly fill their brain with distractions, endlessly scrolling their phones, which prevents them from becoming who they truly can be. This is what a ritual means: breaking that cycle and becoming real, forcing oneself to engage in life so it gains meaning. Realizing that life is a gift—this, in itself, is a ritual.”
The single follows Aviva’s previous successes, including her certified track recognized by ARIA and RIAA as Double Gold/Platinum. An interdisciplinary artist, she has also published two novels with Pan Macmillan since 2021.
