The track originates from Aurora’s debut studio album Teenager, released in 2016, and plays during the closing sequence in four episodes.

Written by Jack Thorn (Toxic City) and Stephen Graham, the series follows Jamie Miller, a 13-year-old boy arrested for the murder of a classmate. Similar to Boiling Point, director Philip Barantini shot each episode in one continuous take.

On Instagram, she wrote on Monday (March 17): “It is strange and wonderful to see people resonate with this song. The profound need for the world to reconnect with the inner child and not confuse innocence with weakness is crucial. I hope this song brings something positive to people.”

In a four-star review of Teenager on NME, Ryan Daily called the series “must-watch,” stating: “Its unwavering commitment to exploring the darkest corners of the storyline will linger long after the credits roll.”

“These four episodes delve into the so-called ‘manosphere’ of ordinary boys’ lives, potentially sparking necessary conversations.”

In other news, Aurora celebrated the tenth anniversary of her breakthrough single “Runaway” with a new documentary titled Portrait of the Song.

This song, from her acclaimed debut album released in 2016, “All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend,” skyrocketed the Norwegian singer-songwriter to fame, accumulating over 3 billion streams across all platforms. Billie Eilish even cited Aurora as one of her primary inspirations when she started making music.

Her latest album, “What Happened to the Heart?”, was released last year. Discussing the philosophy behind the title, she remarked to NME: “The world has evolved to become apathetic.”
