Andrew Klein Advances to President of Global Partnerships

Living Events and the AEG Presents advertising company have promoted Andrew Klein to the position of president of global partnerships.

Klein, who previously served as senior vice president of global partnership, will remain in New York and report to executive vice president and chief operating officer Sean Trell.

In his new role, Klein will oversee the entire sales business and activation for the AEG global partnerships department.

A veteran of AEG Presents for over ten years, Klein has been instrumental in leading sponsorship efforts for the company’s tours, festivals, and music venues, including the Dilige Festival, The Flogging Camp, New Orleans Jazz Festival, and Heritage Festival. AEG operates more than 55 venues and numerous musical tours.

Klein’s Contributions and Recognitions

In a statement released on Tuesday (February 18), AEG highlighted Klein as a recognized pioneer in “connecting brands with artists.” The company credits him with developing some of the most notable sponsorship programs, such as H&M‘s global licensed partnership with Coachella, the sponsorship deal between Justin Bieber and Xbox, as well as collaborations with Ubisoft, Motorola, and Katy Perry‘s sponsorship deal with Brackets.
