Set to take place on May 26, 2024, the musician will perform at Ronnie Scott as part of his round “Malibu.” He’ll be joined by his band, “Free Citizens,” alongside special guests Trubach Maurice Brown and R&B duo Gawd.

Historic Venue and Legacy

.Paak will share the stage with other legends who have played at this iconic venue since 1959, including Prince, The Rolling Stones, and Ella Fitzgerald. Notably, Jimi Hendrix delivered his last public performance there in 1970, just two days before his tragic passing.

Recent Performances and Inspirations

Alongside his round, Malibu, .Paak recently performed at the Fireaid Benefit concert featuring Billy Eilish, Lady Gaga, the Stewart clan, and many others. Notably, the concert included a surprise appearance from Dr. Dre, who performed “California Love” and “Still D.R.E.” with Snoop Dogg.

This event was initially announced earlier this month to support the victims of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles and took place in January of the previous year.

The last time we spoke with S. Paak was in October of last year, where he shared insights about his directorial debut, K-POPS, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. He mentioned being “inspired by my son during quarantine.”

“I was stuck at home and couldn’t tour,” he began. “Then I thought, ‘What are we going to do?’ My son replied, ‘I want to do YouTube.’ So I checked his page, and it was pretty good.”

“My whole family became obsessed with K-Pop,” he continued. “They were really into BTS at the time, but I didn’t get it initially. I was more focused on the industry side of things. Then they invited me to a concert, and I turned into a fan.”

In other news, Jameson has collaborated with Anderson .Paak and Fender to launch a special guitar, amplifier, and bottle.
