Alabama Shakes Reveals First North American Tour in Eight Years

Alabama Shakes Announce Tour

Alabama Shakes are set to embark on their first tour in eight years, revealing an extensive lineup of North American dates for the summer of 2025.

Tour Details and New Music

The band confirmed their return following a series of studio photos shared last week. The tour kicks off at the Salt Shed in Chicago on July 16 and concludes at the Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, on September 27.

“Last year, Zach and I started talking about how fun it would be to create music and tour again like Alabama,” says Brittany Howard. “This band and these songs have brought us all so much joy. It’s wild to think that ten years have passed since we released ‘Sound and Color’ and eight years since we last performed.”

The announcement comes after a reunion performance in Alabama in December, where Howard invited Zach Cockrell, Heath Fogg, and Ben Tanner to join her on stage. She also mentioned that the group has recorded “a bunch of new music, which will be released soon.”
