New album release details
The Cambridge group is gearing up to launch its third studio album, “Boys These Days,” on May 23 through Distiller Records/Bright Antenna. Here The album will showcase the singles “I’m in Love (Subaru),” “Condensation,” “Bang Bang Bang,” and “Perhaps When We Are 30.”
In anticipation of the release, those who pre-order the album will be invited to throw paintballs at the band.
On Instagram, they shared on Friday (May 9): “On Tuesday, we’ll spend the day in the studio, performing live sales for our new album with what remains of our dignity and 3000 pounds per square piece.”

The post also includes a video of the group in the studio with the paintball pistol, aimed at a row of melons. “It’s okay to dislike a sports team,” reads the caption. “Six group members, four hours, and one entirely remote paintball bash. Buy an album, get 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 shots. May 13.”
The band has also revealed a series of store concerts coinciding with the album release—tickets are already on sale and can be purchased in participating stores or on the group’s website Here.
