Last weekend (March 1), the Sicko Mode rapper made headlines, not only by appearing on WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Canada, but also for his significant role in the show’s final segment.
During the Travis Scott segment – featuring his song ‘4 × 4’ as the current theme song for WWE Raw – he joined Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the ring to confront John Cena and WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, challenging the latter to “sell his soul” to become the “greatest” champion. John portrayed a fictional antagonist figure, serving as a member of WWE’s Board of Directors.
Later in the segment, Rhodes rejected Johnson’s proposal, telling him to “go fuck yourself,” which incited John Cena to retaliate. Travis Scott joined the fray, hitting Rhodes in the face during the chaotic exchange.
WWE content director and former wrestler ‘Triple H’ Levesque shared a backstage video capturing his interaction with Travis Scott after the segment. Following their embrace, Scott remarked: “Bratan, it can be better than, with a low performance. It was like an entire atmosphere. It was so crazy… I already hooked it.”
Scott humorously suggested that wrestling rings would be set up in his house. Check the video below.

Potential Future in Wrestling
At the post-event press conference, Johnson was asked if Travis Scott would ever wrestle, to which he simply replied, “Yes.” Additional reports from wrestling journalists suggest that Scott is training for his ring debut, indicating that a match involving Scott could be a real possibility.
This marks the second time Scott played a significant role in WWE in recent weeks, following his appearance accompanying JSO USO during his entrance through the crowd on an episode of WWE RAW. This followed USO’s victory at the February Royal Rumble event.
If Travis Scott steps into the ring for a match, he will join the ranks of recent notable musicians who have done so. Bad Bunny has had three matches between 2021 and 2023 and is often regarded as the “best” celebrity wrestler.
Scott wasn’t the only rap star present at the Elimination Chamber, as Drake and Lil Yachty were spotted in the front row at the Rogers Centre. Drake’s appearance was particularly noteworthy, considering it occurred just days after he canceled four shows in Australia and New Zealand due to scheduling conflicts.
While the artist behind “God’s Plan” may not have been visible on camera during the event, photos circulating on social media led fans to joke that WWE was “on the wrong side of the beef” between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, with others enthusiastically suggesting that AEW should bring Kendrick Lamar to one of its events.
Later this year, Scott is set to headline Reading & Leeds 2025, alongside “Bring Me The Horizon,” “Chappell Roan,” and “Household.” He has also recently expressed hopes to collaborate with Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift.
