Announcement of Return
A completely new one has announced their return with details of their first live performances since 2017 – see dates below.
The Long-Alend group has been largely inactive since frontman Jesse Lecy was accused of sexual misconduct involving a minor in 2017, leading to the cancellation of their UK tour and the removal of their music from Spotify’s “wrapped” list after two additional women came forward with statements.
They played a secret and intimate reunion in December last year in Nashville, showcasing new songs that have sparked speculation about a full-scale reunion possibly planned for 2025.
Now, the group has launched their own site where fans can register to purchase tickets for one of the three shows they will perform at the end of this month.
Upcoming Shows
The first show is set to take place at Bombs in Dallas, Texas, on March 26, followed by the Pavilion Megakorov in Newport, Kentucky, on March 28. The mini-run will conclude at Pinnacle in Nashville on March 29. Pre-sale for tickets begins at 12:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday (March 5), and you can find your tickets here.

After the group seemed to have taken a break following the accusations, Lecy stated that he apologized for the “actions of my past,” which he acknowledged “caused pain and harm to many people, and I sincerely regret it.”
He continued, “I do not stand in defense of myself and cannot forgive myself. I was selfish, narcissistic, and insensitive in my past, and there are several individuals who have had to bear the burden of my failures.”
“I apologize for the pain I caused, and I hope to take the right actions to earn forgiveness and trust.”
A completely new one was formed in 2000, quickly establishing themselves as a leading emo group before evolving into a more complex and innovative alternative rock band.
Their fifth and final album, “Science Fiction,” was released in 2017, marking their first album in eight years. They indicated that it might be their final album during its release by selling T-shirts featuring the dates 2000-2018—at least that was the case before the allegations against Lecy came to light.
