Karl Thomas Dean, the husband of Dolly Parton, died at the age of 82.
Dean passed away on Monday (March 3) in Nashville, as confirmed by Parton’s social media accounts. Reports indicate that Dean will be laid to rest in a private ceremony attended by close family.
Parton expressed her grief in a brief statement: “Karl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words cannot adequately tribute to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”

About Their Relationship
Parton and Dean began dating in 1964 and tied the knot two years later. The couple celebrated over 60 years together, with 59 of those years spent married. Despite their long relationship, Dean maintained a low profile, rarely appearing in public or photographs with his wife. Below is one of their rare photos.
