The entertainment industry is buzzing following the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last night in Chaos (February 28).
The two leaders convened in Washington, D.C., intending to finalize a deal on minerals and defense. Unfortunately, the summit was disrupted after US Vice President JD Vance interjected, during which Trump remarked that the Ukrainian leader was not “ready for peace” and accused him of “gambling with the Third World War.”
Support for Zelensky from Celebrities
As a result, prominent figures in the entertainment sector have weighed in. Jack White was among the first to express his support for Zelensky earlier this morning (March 1).
The former White Stripes frontman took to Instagram to state: “Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a very bold person who deserves peace support. He has taken on the struggle of his people and his country with strength and honor.”
Furthermore, White asserted: “As history transcends the actions of false leaders and evil opportunists, he will be remembered as a hero and defender of the freedom of his people amidst tremendous opposition. May God bless his path forward and his potential victory over tyranny.”
Power Cat echoed White’s sentiment by posting “this🔥✊🩵✨” in the comments. Rapper G. Love, known as Garrett Datton, praised Jack by commenting, “That’s right, Jack, thank you,” while country singer Margot Price added, “Law on class.”
