A G Cook Recognized
AG COOK He was announced by the laureate of the Producer of the Year for the Brit Awards 2025 Awards with MasterCard.
Celebrating Innovative Contributions
The innovative producer and head of the label, who founded the music of the PC in 2013, was recognized for his contribution to pop music, including his work as an executive producer for Charlie XCX, who has received a Grammy, Mercury Prize, and an album nominated for Brit Brat. Last year, his own third solo album titled ‘Britpop’ was released.
Cook says: “As a person who always felt a little stranger, I am very flattered by the fact that the British recognize me. From the early musical days of the PC to the Mistems Charlie and beyond, I was lucky to work on so much music that I sincerely believe in. In particular, I would like to dedicate this moment to Sophie, whose vision and skill continue to inspire producers everywhere.”
The award, determined by a group of expert judges, follows previous accolades received by Cook, including British GQ Man of the Year and Variety Hitmakers Innovator of the Year. His production credits feature collaborations with Caroline Polachek, Troye Sivan, Christina Aguilera, and Okl.
Damian Christian, managing director and president of Atlantic Records and the chairman of the British committee for 2025, states: “What a remarkable year he has had. He has delivered incredible music, being a true creative who collaborates with the biggest artists in the world—always helping them enhance their sound.
