Upcoming London Show Teased
LCD Soundsystem appears to be teasing their upcoming show in London with a series of intriguing forecasts. Check out the details below.
Promotional Messages in Shoreditch
Promotional graphics have surfaced in Shoreditch, East London. One of the visuals is projected onto the SHOREDITCH HIGH Street station, while another can be seen on the closed graffiti walls of a nearby Euro-state.
“You are here (again),” reads the teaser messages, displayed alongside the official logo of DFA Records, the Lightning Bolt-dependent label co-founded by LCD’s frontman, James Murphy, in 2001.
Last year, the New York group showcased similar teasers—minus the “(again)”—in these very locations, shortly before announcing their residency at the O2 Brixton Academy in London.
Thus, it is likely that Murphy and company will soon confirm a live performance in the capital. LCD Soundsystem outlined all dates for their EAST 2024 tour in London last summer, following a monumental Pyramid stage appearance at the Glastonbury festival.

The band has yet to perform live in 2025, following their December show in New York City. However, they recently announced concerts in the USA this spring, leading up to their slots at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and We Love Green in Paris.
At the end of last year, LCD Soundsystem released a new single titled “X-Ray Eyes.” In a press release regarding their upcoming Primavera performance, it was announced that the group would be dropping a new album in 2025.
Later, Murphy shared updates about the progress on the new record: “So, there is a new LCD song called ‘X-Ray Eyes.’ This is the first single that sets the tone for the upcoming LCD Soundsystem album.”
“Don’t ask me when it will be out because we are still in the process of working on it. But it’s very exciting to release new music.”
The frontman reiterated that “there is no completed LP yet,” adding, “But when we are not performing shows, it is getting closer and closer to completion. So this is news. Everything you hear is speculation.”
“X-Ray Eyes” marked the first new material from LCD Soundsystem since the separate “New Body Rhumba” released for the 2022 Noah Baumbach film White Noise, following their return album of 2017’s “American Dream,” which concluded a seven-year break after the 2010 album “This Is Happening.”
In a five-star review of LCD Soundsystem at Glastonbury 2024, NME noted: “The field filled with the pyramid holds onto each other tightly and reaches for the sky, as the 10th LCD masterclass, of course, culminates with “All My Friends.” This song and this moment embody Glastonbury in the best possible way, evoking memories in the making and good times ahead: ‘And if the sun comes out, and I still don’t want to go home, then these are memories of our best that keep us on our feet.’ This is how it begins.
