James Blake to Headline the Wasing Festival
James Blake has been announced as a headliner for the Saturday evening at the Wasing Festival 2025, joining a lineup that features Anoushka Shankar, Salif Keita, Nubiyan Twist, Kog, and Turbans.

This three-day festival, set in the “weight” forest from June 20-22, will showcase Blake performing an intimate solo show. The Grammy, Ivor Novello, and Mercury Prize winner recently embraced a new chapter by connecting directly with fans after leaving his main contract with Leibble in 2024.
On Friday evening, Anushka Shankar will host fireside sessions, taking place by the glow of a sacred fire, followed by a dawn ceremony the next morning.

The alcohol-free event will feature various additional activities, including natural formations meditation, breathing care sessions, and Wild Swim & Sauna experiences at the forest lake. Family-friendly activities such as yoga, crafting, and circus skills will also be available.
