Concert and Charitable Activities
Recently, II highlighted his participation in the final Black Sabbath concert, calling it “a profound honor and respect.”
The last live show for Sabbath will take place in Birmingham on July 5. The group has also announced a stellar lineup of special guests, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, and Grammy winner Gojira, among others.
In a rare post, II expressed his sentiments about the concert on Instagram, stating, “It is with great respect and honor that I announce my involvement in this tribute to the legendary @blacksabbath at Villa Park stadium. Performing in the sacred territory of Birmingham, Great Britain, on Saturday, July 5, 2025.”
He added, “A band that has ignited my passion for heavy music and creativity from the beginning. Eternal gratitude to @ozzyosbourne, @sharonosbourne, @tommorello, and @andycoppingofficial for their kind consideration.”
The Black Sabbath gig will feature the iconic lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward performing together for the first time in two decades. This final show will not only serve as a farewell for the group but also direct its proceeds to charitable organizations focused on Parkinson’s treatment as well as the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice, a facility supported by Aston Villa.
In other news, at the end of last year, a mysterious masked vocalist paused during their concert at the O2 Arena to play on their Nintendo Switch.
