New Album Release
Jordan Rakei is set to unveil a deluxe edition of his fifth studio album, “The Loop,” on April 4. This special release features three new tracks alongside live recordings from his performances at the Royal Albert Hall.
Expanded Tracklist
This enhanced version includes new songs like “Celebrate,” featuring Stuts, “Seazize,” and the lead single “Talk Talk Talk,” which was recorded during Rakei’s residency at Abbey Road Studios. Additionally, the deluxe edition offers live performances of “Trust,” “Hopes and Dreams,” and “Friend or Enemy,” all captured at the Royal Albert Hall.
“This song is simply about discussing your problems with people you trust. It was a truly beneficial exercise to let go. Now, I feel I can process things much more effectively,” Rakei shares about “Talk Talk.”
“This luxurious album is particularly meaningful to me because it features two new songs that hold a special significance in my heart. I’m thrilled to share them with the world. Last year, I also presented three live performances from my show at the Royal Albert Hall, which were among my favorite moments during the tour for this record!” Rakei explains.
Released through Decca, “The Loop” marked Rakei’s first entry into the TOP 40 albums. The original album features tracks such as “Flowers,” “Freedom,” “Training,” “Friend or Enemy,” and “Trust.” Recorded at RAK Studios with spontaneous arrangements and mixed by Ben Bapti, the album showcases orchestral compositions and choral elements along with RIPE production.
