On February 18 at Midnight KST, SEULGI and her SM Entertainment label, Red Label, shared an announcement featuring teaser photos and a project timeline leading up to the album’s full release. The mini-album, “Accidentally On Purpose,” is set for release on March 10 at 18:00 KST.

Details About the Mini-Album

This marks SEULGI’s first solo mini-album, following the renewal of her contract with SM Entertainment in 2023. Further details, including the tracklist and lead single, will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Upcoming Collaborations

“Accidentally Deliberately” is the highly anticipated follow-up to her debut solo mini-album “28 Reasons,” released in 2022. The upcoming project was first confirmed by her label in November 2024, along with the published income report, which included previews of the musical content for the next year.

In 2022, NME Rian Daily awarded “28 Reasons” a glowing five-star review, stating: “Seulgi has long proved herself as an intoxicating and masterful performer in Red Velvet, and now she is ready to channel this experience into her own brilliant moment. For ’28 Reasons,’ it shines brighter than ever.”

In addition to her upcoming solo release, Seulgi is also gearing up for a reunion with fellow member Irene as part of their unit. SM Entertainment recently announced that the duo will be returning with a new mini-album, their first collaboration in five years since “Monster.”
