The Wigan Rock band’s third album was originally set for release on March 7, but it will now drop a week early on February 28 after they “pulled out a lot of strings.”

In a post on Instagram, they announced: “MDND comes a week earlier! ❤ We pulled a few (many 😅) strings, and now our new album will be out on Friday, February 28 – just two weeks away. 😎 We couldn’t be more excited for you to hear it.

“A huge thank you to everyone who pre-ordered and purchased from the store; you will receive the album a whole week earlier! This also gives you extra time to learn the lyrics before the tour… so no excuses.”

First Single and Tour Plans

Last summer, fans got their first taste of their third album with the single “No Direction,” marking their first new music since the release of their 2023 album “From Nothing More” – which earned them their second LP on the UK album charts. They also released the separate single “Thoughts of the Child” in October last year.

Frontman Alex Moore described the project as feeling like “a full circle.” He stated, “We worked on this with our good friend and former college tutor, John Kettle, who helped us return to our roots. The process felt organic, without the pressure to meet industry demands, allowing us to truly explore creatively.”

“It felt like a return to college freedom with no restrictions. For instance, (drummer Ryan Durrand) even plays a pan in a “star actor,” an unexpected touch. This album is raw, real, and everything we hoped for.”

After the album’s release, the band will embark on a UK and Ireland tour starting on March 13 in Glasgow. Their journey will take them to Newcastle, Stoke, Sheffield, London, Belfast, Dublin, and many other locations before concluding with a concert in their hometown at the Manchester O2 Apollo on April 11.

Lathums spoke with NME last year as they anticipated their previous album “From Nothing to a Little More.” Moore remarked, “What’s the point of investing so much in anything if you’re not passionate about it? I find it refreshing that people can see genuine emotions behind these songs, unlike much of the music being released today, which often lacks depth. I’m not trying to give you what you want; I’m giving you what you need.”
