Jisoo’s Inspiration

Jisoo from Blackpink revealed that Britney Spears inspired her new solo album “Shock Absorption”.

Musical Journey

In an interview with Billboard regarding this release, Jisoo expressed her admiration for the iconic pop star’s music. “Every time I prepare for a solo release, I always return to her song ‘Baby Again’ as a reference,” she noted. “I cherish the pop atmosphere and often say, ‘I want to create something with that kind of energy.’ This video serves as ongoing inspiration for my own creative process.”

This marks the first musical output from Jisoo since launching her own Blissoo label after leaving YG Entertainment. Her previous solo endeavor included the album “Me,” featuring the title track “Flower” and the B-side “All GEATS On ME.”
