This track is the fourth to be featured on his upcoming album, “PEOPLE WATCH,” set to be released next Friday (February 21) via Polydor, and it is available for pre-order here. The album follows previous singles “Hand Length,” “Wild Long Lie,” and the title track.
Collaboration and Tribute
Comrade Jordi, the star of I, Daniel Blake, shares a leading role in the video alongside Philippa Briggs, depicting “the crushing inevitability of love, communication, and potential loss.”
Fender shared: “Remember My Name” is a song about love dedicated to my late grandparents – they were always so proud of our family, so I created this piece to honor them, told from my grandfather’s perspective as he cared for my grandmother during her struggle with dementia. The video holds immense significance for me, and I want to thank all those involved.”
