TY DOLLA $ IGN, who spent most of 2024 collaborating with Kanye – now legally known as Ye – on two albums, Vultures 1 and Vultures 2, took to Instagram to share a brief yet pointed message.

Instagram Statement on Hate Speech

He wrote: “I do not approve of anyone, so that there is no form of hateful speech.” Although he did not directly address Kanye West, it appears that Ty’s statement is a response to the recent tirade from his colleague and the highly controversial sale of a Swastika T-shirt on the Yeezy website.

Currently, it is unclear whether Ty Dolla $ IGN will continue his collaboration with Ye, despite teasing in January that a third installment, “Vulture 3,” was “on the way.”

Kanye West’s Controversial Statements

Last week, Kanye posted a series of tweets defending Didi and Chris Brown, calling for the former’s release from prison amidst allegations of sexual violence. He later made claims on Twitter (now X) of having “dominion” over his wife Bianca Tsenkori, retracted his apologies to the Jewish community for past anti-Semitic comments, and also referred to himself as a “Nazi.”

Additionally, he tweeted “I love Hitler,” praised billionaire Elon Musk as “the most lit man who has ever been on Twitter,” and asserted that others were looking up to him. Musk had faced criticism and allegations of Nazism earlier this year when he made two Nazi gestures during Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.

In other posts, he mocked marginalized communities, claiming that “slavery is a choice” among other inflammatory statements. He then deleted his site and only offered a white T-shirt featuring a large swastika on the front, labeled “HH-01.” The clothing item costs $20, and the name “HH-01” might be a reference to the chant “Hail Hitler” associated with Nazi gestures.

Since then, Kanye West’s account has been deactivated, and Shopify has shut down the West website. Following these events, he was dropped by his talent agency, and his former chief of staff left Yeezy.
