Yot Club Releases New Double Single
Yot Club has unveiled their latest double single, “Fall Off” and “Circles in My Brain,” just before their upcoming tour across North America alongside Vundabar.
Exploring New Musical Directions
The new tracks, featuring High Sunn, showcase various dimensions of Ryan Kaiser’s songwriting. “Fall Off” incorporates Lo-Fi elements, enriched with heavy reverb and a frenetic choir, while “Circles in My Brain” is constructed around a surf-inspired motif, framed by an energetic rhythm.
Reflecting on the creation of “Fall Off,” Kaiser shares: “Some songs require a bit of nurturing, but others come naturally – ‘Fall Off’ was one of those. As soon as I heard the recorded guitars, I knew precisely the direction I wanted to take. The chorus conveys an optimistic yet almost frenzied vibe, contrasting sharply with the more contemplative verses that provide a moment for pause and reflection. The structure of this song mirrors my perception of life – I often feel guilty for taking time to relax, which forces me to approach rest more like work. The verses imitate this compelled relaxation, while the chorus embodies the manic energy I experience when I create music.”
Kaiser, who has been recording as Yot Club since 2019, released his second album, “Rufus,” in 2024. This 13-track record followed his debut album released in 2022, titled “From the Record.”
