Kid Rock’s Performance Incident
Kid Rock entered the stage at the Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan event after the fans failed to clap on cue.
The country singer unexpectedly addressed the audience at John Bon Jovi’s restaurant in Tennessee, JBJ Nashville, on Saturday (February 8) as part of Bryan’s birthday celebration.
In footage from his on-stage moment, he can be seen performing “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival, but he quickly scolds the crowd for not clapping in time with the music.
“Damn it,” he tells the audience. “If you’re not going to clap, we won’t sing. That’s how this will work.”
He urges the audience to clap along to the rhythm before proceeding. Ultimately, as they begin to clap, he shouts angrily: “You all know what the hell you’re doing. If you’re not going to clap, I’m leaving.” He then exits the stage.

Kid Rock and Donald Trump
In other related news, Kid Rock revealed that Donald Trump personally called him before the Victory rally in January to ask if his Secret Service had indeed banned strippers from his first speech.
Kid Rock was one of the performers scheduled for the inauguration event in Washington, and before his set, he joked about being prohibited by the Secret Service from using strippers on stage. Apparently, the soon-to-be president heard his comment.
Speaking on Fox & Friends, the singer remarked: “The president and Melania called me, and it was a bit shocking. I tried to give him space; he’s got a lot going on right now, I think.”
He continued: “He called and asked, ‘Did the Secret Service really tell you that you can’t use a stripper?’ I replied, ‘No, sir, I was just joking.’”
“Ah, that’s funny,” Trump reportedly responded, according to Kid Rock.
Kid Rock has been a long-time supporter of Trump’s political career, dating back to his initial victory in the 2016 elections.
