“We’ve been playing this game called Rock and Roll for 36 years,” the frontman stated. “I’ve had to wrestle many times with what the first song is, what the first statement is, and let others judge us by just one moment in time. We felt that the best way to experience this record was to leave it untouched by any external influence.”

More recently, Corgan was announced as one of the performers for the star-studded final concert of Black Sabbath, scheduled to take place in Birmingham on July 5.

According to comments made by Sharon Osborn to NME, Corgan will be taking the stage alongside drummer Danny Carey and Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine. They will be joined by an impressive lineup of rock royalty performing that night, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, recent Grammy winner Gojira, and many more.

Additionally, PAWSA is confirmed for Gunnersbury Park 2025, joining The Libertines, Supergrass, Soft Play, Hak Baker, and Lambrini Girls.

The 2024 season will also feature headliners such as PJ Harvey, Korn, Peggy Gou, and Tom Grennan.
