Ador Reacts to Rebranding Associated with New Junis Amid Legal Tensions: “This is Deeply Regrettable”

Ador’s Response to NJZ Rebranding

Ador made a brief statement in response to a recent rebranding of NJZ, describing it as “deeply regrettable”.

New Name and Upcoming Performance

In New Dzhans, the group’s new name was announced on February 7, coinciding with their announcement for Headliners Complexcon in Hong Kong 2025, taking place in March this year. During their upcoming appearance at the festival, the group will debut a completely new song, marking their first performance as NJZ.

“Although we must leave our previous name behind, we do not completely abandon it. We also do not want to, because being in New -Adjian represents a very special period for us that our fans likely cherish as well,” Hanny expressed in an interview with CNN during their announcement.

Legal Issues and Future Actions

Ador has since reacted to the announcement from the female group. “It is primarily regrettable that the members made this unilateral decision before any legal resolution was reached regarding the validity of their exclusive contracts with Ador,” the company stated, as reported by SOOMPI.

“Ador will continue to do everything in its power to protect the brand value in New Jaian,” added Leibble. Ador also mentioned being “always open to meeting with the members of New Jaeans or their legal representatives to resolve any misunderstandings and discuss the future actions of the group.”

The rebranding in New -Ajan followed shortly after the girl group indicated that they did not intend to return to Ador and Hyb after terminating their contracts with the company in November 2024. The quintet also urged fans to provide a new name for the group.

In their statement, NJZ members explained that they would be confronting their former label in court after Ador filed a lawsuit seeking to validate their contracts and impose a legal restriction preventing them from signing agreements with brands as independent artists.
