Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Tribute
Lady Gaga kicked off the 2025 Super Bowl with a heartfelt tribute to the vibrant city of New Orleans. Check it out below.
Honoring New Orleans
Earlier this week, Gaga was spotted shooting a special performance alongside football legend Tom Brady on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. On February 10, this performance was showcased as a tribute to New Orleans, which suffered a tragic terrorist attack on New Year’s, resulting in 14 casualties.
The pre-game performance was unveiled before the 2025 Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. During this segment, Tom Brady strolled through the streets of New Orleans, accompanied by a procession of local first responders.
For her performance, Gaga sang “Hold My Hand,” her hit from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack, accompanied by a local jazz orchestra while playing the piano.

As for Gaga, this performance follows her rendition of “California Dream” with Bruno Mars at the Grammy Awards last week. The duo also took home the award for Best Pop Duo for “Die With a Smile.” Later that evening, Lady Gaga debuted her latest single “Abracadabra.”
She is set to release her long-awaited seventh studio album “Mayhem,” scheduled for release on March 7.
