Summer Festival Appearances

The Sheffield metal group will already be appearing at Reading & Leeds 2025 this summer, alongside Chappell Roan, Travis Scott, and Khozier. They will also play a few festival sets in Germany (Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park). In a recent interview, drummer Mat Nicholls suggested that there could be more dates ahead.

Speaking with Rotherham Radio, he said: “The idea this year was to spend some time since we have literally been busy since Covid, continuously touring last year and recording. We have a couple of German festivals lined up, as well as the Friede & Leeds Festival, and I hope to head to America at the end of the year. That’s all!”

Any new US tour will mark the band’s first since the summer of 2023, prior to the release of “Nex Gen,” the latest installment in their “Post Human” series, which NME labeled one of the best albums of 2024.

Frontman Oli Sykes discussed with NME last year the necessity for the group to take time off in the near future. “We need time to recharge our batteries and spend this time because we do not,” he explained. “The last time we stopped was when we were forced into lockdown. Even then, we were still gathering and doing things. It doesn’t seem that the band has had a substantial amount of free time, and it will reach a point where it begins to affect the band and their work.”
