New single announcement

Bae Suzy is set to make her musical comeback with a new single titled “Cane Back.”

Release details

Today (February 7), Ba Susie revealed that she will be launching a new song called “Rise Back” on February 17. The announcement was made through Korea Joongang Daily. This upcoming track marks her return to music after a two-year hiatus, since her last single was released in October 2022 titled “Cape.”

“As BE returns as a singer after an extended break, she has invested extra effort and care into this new track, fully embracing her concept,” stated representatives from the SOOP label, as reported by Korea Joongang Daily. The song is produced by Kan Hyun-Min, who has previously collaborated with BAE.

During her musical hiatus, BAE primarily focused on her acting career. Her most recent project was Netflix’s Wonderland, where she starred alongside Park Bo-gum. The film premiered in July of last year and explores the theme of a “Simulated Universe,” allowing individuals to reconnect with their departed loved ones through video calls in a realm called “The Country of Wonders.”

Susie first debuted in 2010 as a member of the now-defunct JYP Entertainment girl group Miss A, along with Fei, Jia, and Min. The quartet made a splash with their single “Bad Girl Good Girl”, before releasing two studio albums, three mini-albums, and numerous singles throughout their seven-year career.
