Elton John and Brandi Carlile Join Forces for New Album “Who Believes in Angels?” and London Concert

Elton John And Brandi Carlisle Announce Collaboration

Elton John And Brandi Carlisle have revealed their upcoming joint studio album titled “Who Believes in the Angels?” set to be released on April 4 via Island EMI Records.

Details About the Album

The album, co-written by John, Carlisle, Bernie Taupin, and Andrew Watt, was recorded at Los Angeles Sound Sound Studios in October 2023. This project features a talented group, including CED Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Palladino, and Josh Klinghofer.

“This record was one of the most difficult that I have ever made, but it also stands as one of the greatest musical experiences of my life,” John expresses. “It provided me a space to know I could move forward. ‘Who Believes in the Angels?’ feels like it comes from another era, and I am opening the door to the future. I have everything I’ve done behind me, and it has been brilliant and amazing. But this marks the beginning of my career, Mark 2.”

Carlisle adds: “I am still in awe that I had the opportunity to collaborate on this. I believe all ships rise with Elton John’s standards for songwriting, creating an incredibly complex and inspiring working environment. Everyone contributed ideas and listened to each other; it felt like a family. In the current wild world we live in, finding peace and triumph is challenging. Seeking joyful and euphoric moments is a radical act, and that is what this album represents for me.”

The recording includes the 2025 Oscar-nominated track “Never Cry Love,” featured in a Disney+ documentary. The album will be accessible in LP, CD, cassette, and digital formats.
